Jump to RecipeI don’t know how many of you get into the whole New Year’s resolutions, but probably most of that has worn off by now anyway now that it’s more than three weeks in.
Am I right?
LOL.
Well in case you need a little push of motivation to get back at to your healthy regimen, I’ve got your back today with these amazing turkey taco lettuce wraps that come together in under 20 minutes.
This quick, healthy dinner—can I just tell you how much I am loving it?
The first time I fed my family lettuce wraps, I was a little skeptical about what would happen. I wondered if they would freak out so I tried to ease them in to it by putting a few taco shells on the table alongside the lettuce wraps to give them something they recognized.
And I was totally surprised because at the end of the meal all the taco shells were still sitting there and the lettuce was GONE! That’s right. Disappeared. And I was shocked.
Healthy choices for the win.
What kind of lettuce is best for lettuce wraps?
The Butter or Bibb lettuce is so perfect for these. It’s really light in flavor and a little bit sweet. It is THE BEST for lettuce wraps. If you’ve never tried it before. Try it. I know you’ll be hooked too.
And my kids loved it.
So there you go. If you are worried about how it will go over, you can always try the taco shell trick and see what happens.
And 20 minutes. Are you kidding me? How many amazing meals come together that fast? Perfect for a night when you are running here and there and everywhere. That happens a lot around here so I’m always grateful when I can find a quick, delicious meal to add to my repertoire.
Enjoy my friends. Until next time. Bye
