Peach Smoothie Milkshakes

It’s peach season in Utah. Yay!

I love peach season.

Unfortunately we no longer have mature peach trees on our property so I have to rely on other local farmers to get my fill of the best peaches in the world.

There’s nothing like a fresh, juicy peach. Ripe from the tree. Juice dripping down your chin. Seriously, the best thing ever.

These peach smoothie milkshakes are a great way to get your peach fix for breakfast or a quick afternoon snack. I love that they are honey-sweetened and so easy to make.

How to make these peach smoothie milkshakes

Have you tried these strawberry smoothie milkshakes that I posted a long time ago? They are always a huge hit around here. And these peach smoothie milkshakes are just as good.

To make them you will need:

  • milk + plain yogurt or kefir milk
  • honey (we use raw honey- agave would also work)
  • vanilla extract
  • peaches

In a blender jar combine milk, yogurt, honey and vanilla extract.

Blend well for about a minute until honey is mostly dissolved.

Add frozen peach halves and blend until smooth.

Serve in glasses with milkshake straws (aff. link).

Have you tried kefir yet?

As I mentioned above, this is a great recipe to use kefir milk in. You can substitute kefir milk for the regular milk and plain yogurt in the recipe.

In my guide for culturing kefir I share info, FAQs & tips to help you get started culturing your own kefir.

Serving options

These peach smoothie milkshakes work great as a snack or breakfast smoothie.

You can throw a handful of spinach in for an easy green breakfast smoothie. It really doesn’t taste like spinach at all. The fruit and honey mask the spinach flavor. Such a great way to get your greens!

Sometimes for my breakfast smoothie I will use fresh peaches so it’s not super cold. And I really like it that way too.

Get making these milkshakes.

They are so delightfully simple. I love that it’s a recipe for one. But you can always double it (assuming your blender has the capacity).

Enjoy, my friends.
