Tender, juicy, easy roast beef cooked in a slow cooker with less than 10 minutes of prep time.
Slice onion into ¼-inch thick rounds and place flat on the bottom of the slow cooker pot. Place chuck roast on top of the onion slices and pour Worcestershire sauce over the top.
1. I love to serve this beef with roasted vegetables: these potatoes or this cauliflower or even these roasted vegetables (I would probably omit the sausage since I'm serving it with Beef).
2. Sometimes if I know I won't have time to roast the vegetables before it's time to eat, I will wash and cut up some potatoes and carrots into about 2-inch pieces and throw them on top of the roast and sprinkle them with a bit of salt and pepper. They easily cook with the roast and you can serve it all together for a full meal.
